Shell or mounted djembe.

This djembe comes from a dry wood of several years, so it will give its best sound capacity from the first assembly.

On the other hand, the woods we use to make djembes and other musical instruments,
come from an area which has the reputation of giving very hard and dense wood.
The manufacturing time of a djembe is therefore higher, but so is the result.
