"Blacksmith Wood" Djembe N°225

As its common name suggests, it is mainly used in the manufacture of balafons.
Its characteristics make it a wood with very interesting acoustic properties.
These give the djembes carved in this essence a sonority close to that of Linke wood.

The balafon wood and the Linke are in our eyes the two best woods for the djembes.

The wood of this djembe is particularly dry,
this means it will give the best of its sound right from the first amount and will not need to be readjusted over time.
